The Documentary aimed to investigate the lives of citizens and facts in North Korea which is an isolated nation. North Korea is isolated from the rest of the world and is heavily censored. There is little of known of the country hence there is a lot of speculation about lives of citizens, human rights violation, the economy and other issues. North Korea has an authoritarian government and Juche ideology which citizen live by. The producer,   Alvaro Longoria ,   and his crew were given a set of rules to abide by during the filming of this documentary, one of which was that they could not leave their hotel rooms alone. Culture and Electronic Colonialism

In most parts of Africa, we seem to be losing certain aspects of all culture, though some will argue that not every part of our culture is great like female circumcision, we have great aspects of our culture that the others can learn from. Culture is usually transferred from generation to generation through the family and the immediate community. You learn how to respect your elders - the Yoruba’s are very good at that, you get introduced to chores at an early age, you learn that when your parent gets old, you will be responsible for their up keep. There are no known cases of journalists arrests or those who violated the censorship and scenes removed from movies. Saudi Arabia is a good example of an authoritarian media system as the government controls and monitors all forms of communication in

Imperialism is the idea or theory of extending authority or exercising sovereignty or influence over external territories through political or economic means for the expansion of an empire. This could be in form of indirect rule through indigenous local authority. The Berlin Conference in 1884 – 1885 marked the beginning of Imperialism in Africa. Africa was a continent known for its vast natural resources and Europe lacked resources to fuel their Industrial revolution. Germany, England, France, Spain, Belgium, and Italy decided to share the African continent into territories to get access to these resources. This was known as the “Scramble for Africa”. The National prestige of Empire extension, Social Darwinism and “the White Man’s burden” for civilization were other political and cultural reasons that fueled imperialism. However, these reasons in themselves were egotistic and lead to other inhumane treatment of the locals. On the other hand, Colonialism is the action tak
